GENERAL INFORMATION

EVENT OVERVIEW

WHAT IS DINABURG CUP 2026?

International youth wrestling tournament and training camp programme in Daugavpils, Latvia.
Programme includes Greco-Roman, Freestyle and Women's Wrestling competitions plus dedicated training camps.

VENUE

City: Daugavpils, Latvia.
Training camps: Olympic Centre.
Competitions: Olympic Centre / official competition venue.

COMPETITION FORMAT

Competition on 3 mats using LigaDB system and challenge system.
Referee team: invited UWW referees selected by the organisers.
Honorary UWW Referee Jānis Rončs will lead competition operations and coordinate referees.

PARTICIPATION LIMITS

Tournament: up to 250 athletes per competition day.
Training camp: up to 100 participants.
Registration is valid only after confirmation by the organiser.

FEES AND PAYMENT

Entry fee: 20 EUR per athlete / per competition day.
Payment details or invoice will be sent after registration confirmation.
On-site card payment: +3% card payment fee.
Training camp fee: 50 EUR per person / day, including accommodation and 3 meals.

ACCREDITATION

All delegations must complete accreditation before weigh-in.
Only accredited athletes are allowed to participate in weigh-in.
Accreditation is issued after confirmation of payment of all required fees.

WEIGH-IN AND DRAW

Weigh-in and draw take place in the evening before each competition day.
Morning weigh-in may be allowed for some teams only by prior agreement with the organiser.
After the draw, changing weight category is not possible.
If an athlete does not make the confirmed weight at the morning weigh-in, the athlete will be removed from the competition without refund of the entry fee.

AWARDS

Medals and diplomas in each category: 1st place - gold, 2nd place silver, 3rd place - bronze.
Prizes from partners and sponsors of the tournament are also planned.

MEDICAL SERVICE / INSURANCE

Medical staff will be present during competition days.
Teams are strongly advised to have their own accident and travel insurance for all delegation members.
The organiser provides first-aid/emergency medical support at the competition venue during the competition.

FEES AND PAYMENT

Entry fee: 20 EUR per athlete / per competition day.
Payment details or invoice will be sent after registration confirmation.
On-site card payment: +3% card payment fee.

ACCOMMODATION & MEALS DURING TOURNAMENT DAYS

For teams participating only in the tournament, the organiser may assist with accommodation and meals.
For hotel, meal or practical assistance, please contact the Organising Committee in advance.

SESSIONS

During the FS/WW Training Camp after the tournament, boys' Freestyle Wrestling and girls' Women's Wrestling groups will train together in joint sessions.

ACCOMMODATION & MEALS

Accommodation for training camp participants: Hotel Latgola, city centre. Ģimnāzijas iela 46.
Meals: at the Olympic Centre after training sessions.

CAMP FEE

Training camp fee: 50 EUR per person / day, including accommodation and 3 meals.

TRANSPORT / TRANSFER

Teams organise their own travel to Daugavpils.
Recommended airports: Riga, Vilnius, Kaunas.
If needed, the organiser can help coordinate transfer options to Daugavpils.
Transfer is paid separately. Cost depends on group size, arrival airport, schedule and chosen vehicle.
